Jimmy brings over eight years of investment experience to Resurgens. Before Resurgens, Jimmy was a Vice President at PGi, one of the largest providers of collaboration software and services. While at PGi, Jimmy assisted in leading the execution of strategic investments, deploying over $175 million in four acquisitions. He also played a key role in the $1 billion take-private transaction of PGi.
Prior to PGi, Jimmy was an Associate at ICG, where he identified investment opportunities, evaluated transactions, and devised strategic and operational recommendations for portfolio companies in the technology sector. Jimmy began his career in investment banking at BMO Capital Markets and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he advised clients on acquisitions, equity raises, debt placements, and strategic alternatives.
Jimmy graduated with a B.A degree in Economics from Northwestern University, where he was a captain of the varsity swim team and was named an Academic All-Big Ten Scholar Athlete. Jimmy subsequently received an MBA from Columbia Business School, where he was a member of the Private Equity Fellows Program, received the Robert H. Montgomery Prize in Accounting, and graduated with Dean’s Honors.
